A 3-hour procedure, carried out comfortably with the help of Conscious Sedation

Our patient, based in England, came to the clinic due to recurring and concerning dental problems. An older dental restoration was causing unpleasant symptoms, and following a CT scan, the situation proved to be severe: almost all dental roots showed infections, and in the area of one of them, the infectious process had already begun to destroy the bone.

Aware of the complexity of his case, the patient sought several medical opinions before making a decision. He carefully researched clinics on social media, reading reviews and other people’s experiences. What convinced him to choose the DentOP clinic, in addition to the successful results he found online, was the option to undergo the procedure under Conscious Sedation, a decisive factor for his comfort.

Upper jaw and lower jaw:

  • Tooth extraction and dental implant
  • Fixed denture on 6 standard implants (Conscious Sedation, PRF-accelerated healing, CT Scan, Post-operative recovery room, Temporary prosthesis)
  • Bone Grafting 3-5 Units

The surgical procedure was extensive, lasting approximately 3 hours; however, this is where the advantage of Conscious Sedation came into play, completely transforming our patient’s perception of time. Thanks to it, a complex 3-hour operation felt to him like a simple 5-minute break.

In addition to the procedure itself, the entire journey was a pleasant and well-organized experience. The treatment timeline was optimized, with the treatment carried out over 4–5 appointments scheduled at optimal intervals—an approach perfectly suited to someone traveling from abroad.
