DentOP’s patient’s dream has become a reality: she now has a beautiful, functional smile!

Following a childhood accident, our patient’s teeth broke. They were not treated properly; they were simply extracted, and the remaining teeth were covered with dental work that caused her discomfort.

In the lower jaw, 4 implants were placed at another clinic; however, they were not suitable for a screw-retained fixed prosthesis, but rather for a removable one.

Our patient from England wore that denture for 15 years, after which she decided she no longer wanted to go through the daily discomfort of removing it and refitting it with a special adhesive. In addition, it did not provide the security she needed to eat or speak without fear.

Her dream was to be able to eat and to smile!

After the first consultation, Dr. Cazacu Corrado – Specialist in Dento-Alveolar Surgery – offered her the following treatment plan:

  • Fixed teeth on 6 standard implants in the upper jaw;
  • Removal of the existing implants in the lower jaw and placement of 4 new ones;
  • Sinus Lift bone augmentation in the maxilla;
  • Addition of bone 3-5 units to the mandible.

“At the first consultation, I felt as though I had met a friend; the discussion was very good: the treatment plan, the prices, what it involves, and the timeframe. When I decided to come, I had all the information I needed!” – DentOP patient

The final teeth, screw-retained on implants, are made of zirconia—a material that mimics natural teeth and is extremely durable over time. With this new smile, our patient can once again enjoy daily activities and her favourite dishes and, most importantly, she has regained confidence in herself!

“I have had the final teeth fixed for half an hour, and I think I speak well with them! They are very beautiful!” – DentOP patient
